The Chattahoochee Hills Department of Parks and Recreation is working toward providing all residents and visitors with high quality parks, facilities and recreational opportunities. Citizen’s lives are enhanced by community use of parks that are safe, affordable and enriching. Working with the community, it is our goal to improve, preserve, protect and maintain the City’s parks and greenspaces.
Parking Fees and Parking Passes
The City Council of Chattahoochee Hills has approved a parking fee for Cochran Mill Park and Hutcheson Ferry Park starting May 1, 2013. Funds collected will be used to improve and enhance all parks within the city limits. All city residents qualify for free parking passes and non-residents may purchase low-cost annual passes. For information on general policies for our parks please review the City Code of Ordinances, Chapter 20, Parks and Recreation.
Also available are the rules, regulations and reservation forms for Rico Park ball field and Cochran Mill Park primitive camping sites. For more information regarding reservations, please call (770) 463-8881.

Rico Park & Athletic FieldRico Park is located on the west side of Rico Rd, south of the intersection with Campbellton-Redwine Rd. The ball field at Rico Park is the site of the city’s youth sports activities.

The athletic field is open for free play during park hours and may also be reserved for private or youth association events.

Cochran Mill ParkCochran Mill Park Trail Guide
Cochran Mill Park, the city’s largest park, is located on on the west side of Cochran Mill Rd, between South Fulton Parkway and Rivertown Road.

Overflow parking for cyclists or hikers is available behind City Hall at 6505 Rico Road or Hutcheson Ferry Park which is located at 9774 Hutcheson Ferry Road. Park users can then carpool to the park and enjoy their experience without a fee.
Use of the field at Cochran Mill Park requires a special event permit. Please call (770) 463-8881 for additional information.
Primitive camping areas are designated at Cochran Mill Park and must be reserved for use. See reservation form.
Hutcheson Ferry ParkHutcheson Ferry Park is located on the south side of Hutcheson Ferry Rd, south of the intersection with Gravel Rd.
